Shortcut Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application handles information on your device. Shortcut Studio is designed as a 100% offline, privacy-first tool.

2. Package Scanning & QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES Permission

To allow users to create custom shortcuts and launch specific app activities, Shortcut Studio uses the Android QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission.

• On-Device Only: Package scanning occurs strictly on your Android device locally using standard system PackageManager APIs.
• No Cloud Transmission: Installed application names, activity class names, or app icons are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted to external servers or third parties.
• Core Functionality: This permission is essential solely to render installed applications in the Shortcut Picker UI.

3. Local Data Storage & Backup

Shortcut configurations created within the app (such as custom labels, shape preferences, and targeted intent extras) are stored locally in your device's isolated app storage.

If you export a backup JSON file, it is saved directly to your chosen local device directory. We do not maintain any cloud databases or user profile accounts.

4. Analytics & Third-Party Services

Shortcut Studio does not integrate third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services. We do not collect device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID), location data, or personal information.
